HOOSIER DADDY has been highly customized incorporating many features only found on later model Hatteras Motor Yachts. Most notably is the elimination of the split engine rooms, creating one spacious full beam engine room with entrances fore and aft. In addition, a separate circular stairwell from the salon leads down to the private full beam king size master suite. A custom glass dining table was designed around the top of the stairway which easily seats six. Forward, accessed by a stairway in the wheelhouse is a queen size ensuite VIP guest stateroom as well as two additional guest/crew staterooms and heads. At the foot of the stairwell to the guest staterooms is a built in desk with file storage, safe, and a custom cabinet which houses a deep freezer for extended cruises. The laundry with newer front loading stacked washer and dryer is aft, between the VIP and guest staterooms.
The galley has been totally updated with a new stainless steel refrigerator/freezer, granite countertops and new cabinetry. Across from the galley, to starboard, the dinette has been replaced with a unique granite topped bar with a commercial clear ice maker, wine cooler, and beverage refrigerator as well as ample bottle and glass storage.
The flybridge features a custom bar with granite top, built in stainless steel gas grill, refrigerator, storage cabinets and drawers. Custom 1 ¼" stainless steel railing surrounds the aft perimeter of the flybridge. The radar arch is hinged and capable of being lowered to reduce the air draft to 18'10" making her "Great Loop Friendly". A 2014, model AB hard bottom inflatable tender is stored aft on the boat deck as well as a low profile Marquipt davit.

Immediately forward of the galley/bar is the wheelhouse. There are port and starboard sliding entry doors from the side decks. The sole is vinyl wood plank. The helm is centerline behind a three panel windshield with curved side windows. All electronics and navigation equipment is in easy reach and sight for the helmsman. Directly behind the helm is a built-in two person helm seat with two chart drawers, four storage cabinets and a pull out footrest below. An easy eight step ladder to the flybridge is aft to starboard and a stairwell leading down to the forward guest accommodations, laundry and engine room is forward to starboard.
The master suite is accessed via a private stairwell on the port side forward in the salon. Centerline in the Master is a king size berth with upholstered headboard and four storage drawers beneath on either side. Built-in single drawer nightstands with rudder gland access below and adjustable wall mounted lamps flank the bed. Behind the berth are two large portholes which also serve as escape hatches. Curtains, upholstered lambrequins and valances are above. Port and starboard, there are are six large storage drawers with mica countertops above. Forward to port, is an enormous walk-in cedar lined closet. . A smaller two door cedar lined hanging locker is forward to starboard. Carpeting in the master was replaced in 2022. An ensuite bath with tub, granite topped vanity and newer Tecma fresh water head is forward.
The VIP guest stateroom has an island queen size berth with upholstered headboard and a built-in nightstand with table lamp. There are six large storage drawers in the outboard bulkhead. An ensuite bath with stall shower is aft to port.
Located just forward of the Pilothouse stairs to port the forward guest cabin has twin lower berths across the beam forward and aft in the cabin. A half height hanging locker is between the berths. Each berth has a padded headboard, a reading light and four storage drawers below. A head is adjacent with Galley Maid fresh water toilet, vanity and hand held shower.
All the way forward is the guest/crew stateroom with upper and lower single berths to starboard. There is a built-in chest of four drawers to port and an additional two storage drawers beneath the lower berth. A cedar lined hanging locker is aft of the chest. Next aft is a private head with vanity, Galley Maid fresh water toilet and stall shower.
