This elegant blue-water yacht follows in the tradition of the sailing boats on which Jeanneau has built its reputation - with a layout designed by architect Philippe Briand. This boat has extensive safety and offshore upgrades including roller furling moved above deck, all sail controls led to the cockpit, triple-reefed main with lazy jack flaking, split-stay adjustable back-stay, single-side band, redundant (independent) fixed mounted GPS (two) and VHF (two)(both in cockpit and below and with each VHF and GPS having their own antennae) and more. Perfect for husband/wife team or single-hander (many upgrades to make easy to handle) – never leave the cockpit except for the spinnaker, to dock or to head to the bar. She has been sailed to many locations from Northern Maine to Charleston, SC and has explored the Chesapeake Bay extensively. Owner lived aboard for 14 years so this boat also has extensive comfort upgrades including a 6.5kw Fischer Panda generator, two Cruise-Air heat/AC systems and an auxiliary electric heating system for use during the winters when raw water is too cold for use with the Cruise Air heat/AC. The boat has had only one Owner and the boat’s systems have been professionally maintained, according to a rigorous maintenance schedule, throughout the Owner’s use. The Jeanneau 49SO is a truly amazing boat and this one has been customized to be even more amazing. BROKERS WELCOME.
