Azimut Magellano 66 is a trawler type marine yacht, with two 800 hp power plants. and a dual-mode housing made using fiberglass and carbon fiber. It has been produced since 2015 and differs from its class yachts in the “Like Home” concept - all furniture is made in full, not compact size.
On the flybridge, considered one of the largest among yachts of this type, there is a duplicate control post, a stern terrace and a recreation area in the bow.
On the main deck there is a main control room with two captain's chairs, a galley with furniture, a sink, a stove, a fridge and an oven, a dining table with six chairs and a corner sofa with a table. Steps from the main deck lead to the cockpit with a corner sofa and access to a wooden decking bathing platform. The living space of the main deck can be formed in the Navetta version with an additional sofa in the cabin.
On the lower deck there are 4 guest cabins: two with double beds, one with one single and one with two single beds. Each has bathrooms with a private shower and wardrobes. A cabin for two crew members is located behind the engine room at the stern.
Two Volvo D13 engines of 800 hp each allows the Azimut Magellano 66 to reach a maximum speed of 23 knots at half load. The dual-mode hull allowing the vessel to move in displacement and planing mode, and the increased fuel reserve up to 4.5 tons allow the Azimut Magellano 66 to cover up to 900 nautical miles without refueling.
