Dehler 38 is a sailing sport cruising yacht with a Mediterranean cockpit. Length 11.7 meters, width 3.75 meters, accommodates 8 people, designed for going to the open sea, suitable for racing, walking with family or friends. The updated version, developed in collaboration with designers Judel / Vrolijk & co, is presented at the 2013 Düsseldorf boat show.
Fiberglass and balsa cores are used for the deck and hull, aluminum for the enclosure to protect the hull, resin for the outer layer of the laminate, stainless steel for the handrails. The steering provides easy control from any windy side, the tilt of the cockpit roof allows for free movement, the folding transom provides quick access to the water. The manufacturer offers to choose the keel with cast iron ballast from three options, different depths and shapes.
The upper deck houses a swimming platform, spacious cockpit and two-wheel steering system. The salon is equipped with a central table with flaps, a convertible sofa, cupboards, galley with stove, refrigerator and sink. From the saloon you can go to the bathroom, to the bow and aft cabins, the zones are separated by sliding bulkheads, the portholes open and are equipped with blinds.
The Dehler 38 is additionally equipped with a 28 hp Volvo diesel engine. with two blades and a fixed propeller.
