The Fountaine Pajot Astréa 42 sailing catamaran was presented at the 2018 Boat Show in Dusseldorf, where it received two regional awards at once and was recognized as the best catamaran of 2019. The ship was designed by the shipyard design bureau, together with the renowned design company Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design. The Fountaine Pajot Astréa 42 yacht received panoramic glazing of the entire saloon, a large amount of free space in the cabins and saloon, a spacious cockpit and a glass door in the stern of the vessel, which serves as an exit to the shaded terrace. The helm station is equipped with two steering wheels, which allows you to choose a comfortable position regardless of the tack. The salon is finished in light mahogany wood and is available in several configurations to choose from.
In the saloon there is a spacious cabin, a small workplace and a kitchen with a stove, oven, sink, and refrigerator, and a small pantry is designed to store food supplies. For relaxation, there are wide sun loungers in the bow of the vessel, a shaded deck aft with a dining area for 10 people and several sofas. Directly from the terrace, you can go to a wide folding transom, which gives easy access to the water. The yacht has three or four double cabins at the customer's choice, with three or four bathrooms, respectively. Each cabin received a large king-size bed and a spacious wardrobe for storage. The aft tender garage is available even in standard configuration.
The yacht is equipped with two Volvo Penta D-2 50 diesel engines with a total power of 100 hp. The fuel tank is designed for 500 liters of fuel, and the fresh water tank is designed for 700 liters.
