The range of yachts DS — a phenomenon somewhat unusual for mass sailing shipbuilding. DS stands for Deck Saloon — raised up relative to the other below deck areas of the salon that allows you to organize it inside an excellent overview. Until recently, elevated shops were an accessory of a luxury yacht such as a model of firm Oyster (in fact, invented the concept of the "raised salon") or Contest. A characteristic feature of the line DS — unusual appearance with a large "eye" porthole of the cabin attracts the attention, releasing the boat from the total number of her sisters. It is interesting to note that a prestigious range of Jeanneau (53-I 57-I model) evolved from the DS – or, more precisely, from a model 54DS. All boats DS series differ moderate sail area and excellent balance of speed, inertia and handling, allowing you to easily find a common language with them, even the most inexperienced sailors. 50DS here is not the exception any newcomer quickly realizes the reaction of the boat steering.
