Azimut 78 is a three-deck yacht with a fiberglass hull and four cabins, first presented in Cannes in 2019. The concept of a 22-meter-long planing vessel was dealt with by Stefano Rigini. The designer created variations of the interior and layout of living spaces at the customer’s choice.
In the bow of the flybridge there is a sitting area with sofas and a table, a duplicate control post with panoramic glazing, two captain's chairs, a vet-bar and a kitchen cabinet with a sink.
On the main deck, which is covered by a flybridge, there is a main control room, a lounge with a corner sofa and a dining area, which is formed by a table and eight chairs. The layout of the cabin space according to the LOUNGE version is possible with the replacement of the dining area with a corner sofa.
On the cockpit there is a large sofa and a table, along the sides of the aisles to a wooden decking bathing platform on which the tender can be transported.
On the lower deck on the sides, on the bow and aft there are five cabins: three of them with double beds, two with two single beds. Each cabin has its own bathroom with shower and linen closet.
As standard, the Azimut 78 powerplant uses three VOLVO IPS 1200 engines of 900 hp. or three VOLVO IPS 1350 engines of 1000 hp. With their help, the ship develops a maximum speed of 32 knots. The fuel tank is designed for 5000 liters, the supply of fresh water is 1100 liters. The yacht has a cruising range of 340 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 27 knots and is certified as a ship for access to the open sea.
