Ferretti shipyard announced its newest project for 2020. In September, a modern Ferretti 500, the heir to 720 and a successful 450 models, will be shown at a boat show in Cannes. The new concept involves a style revolution that starts with a 50-foot segment and spans the entire fleet range. The design of the exteriors was done by architect Filippo Salvetti, and the design was done by Ideaeitalia. The interior uses only hypoallergenic materials and offers two colors.
The cockpit has increased due to the length of the yacht. The main deck has a spacious lounge area. On the wide flybridge there is enough space for relaxation, the installation of a grill bar and a control post. Climbing it is more convenient thanks to the stairs with an increased inclination. Flybridge can be covered from the sun by a built-in bimini tent. Convenient movement on the yacht is provided by extended side walkways. The windows in the building have acquired modern forms.
The layout includes three cabins: for the captain in the aft and two guest rooms with separate bathrooms. The maximum number of passengers is 12. You can order a third guest or laundry.
Ferretti Yachts 500 will receive the energy of two Cummins QSB engines with 550 horsepower, which will allow you to develop a cruising speed of 25 knots, a maximum of 30. It is possible to additionally install the Seakeeper pitch stabilizer, which will provide maximum stability at anchor and during navigation, and will allow comfortable traveling along rivers and the sea.
