The sport cruising sailing yacht Grand Soleil 43 has been produced by the Italian shipyard Grand Soleil since 2013. To create the interior, designer Claudio Maletto was brought in, who added a voluminous aft section and a cruciform keel to all models of the line. The yacht's hull is made of fiberglass composite. Such material has a low mass, which allows to reduce the weight of the vessel, increase speed and controllability. The length of the hull is 13.25 meters, the width is 3.95 meters, and the draft is 2.50 meters.
At the stern of the upper deck of the boat there is a bathing platform covered with natural wood. The upper deck of the Grand Soleil 43 is additionally equipped with a self-drying system, which reduces the risk of injury. The cockpit has a helm post, a passage to the lower deck and two sofas. Wide walkways along the sides of the boat lead to a spacious bow, where sun loungers can be installed.
The lower deck is equipped with a spacious master cabin located in the bow of the boat. It is equipped with a double bed, private bathroom with shower, wardrobe and storage boxes for bed linen. In the middle of the boat there is a saloon with two sofas on the sides of the boat, a galley equipped with a gas stove with oven, a two-section sink and a garbage compartment. Opposite it there is a bathroom for a pair of double guest cabins located aft of the boat.
To power the Grand Soleil 43 with electricity, a Volvo 55 hp sail drive diesel with a fuel capacity of 220 liters was used. The sail area is 105 square meters.
