Caribbean islands

The island of Anguilla is part of the Antilles archipelago in the Caribbean Sea, 130 km east of the Virgin Islands. The Republic of Anguilla is a self-governing British Overseas Territory. The area of the island state, which includes Anguilla and the surrounding islets and reefs, is only 102 square kilometers.

The Turks and Caicos Archipelago is located in the Atlantic Ocean, 230 km northeast of Cuba. It includes 40 islands and small reefs with a total area of 430 sq. km. The archipelago is divided by the Columbus Strait into two groups of islands: Caicos and Turks. The islands are dominated by a low-lying landscape.
