The motor yacht Ferretti 550 has been produced by the Italian shipyard Ferretti since 2014. Her show took place at a boat show in Cannes in 2015. The design studio Zuccon International Project participated in the development.

In 2017, they carried out a restyling, retaining all the innovative elements: continuous glazing, three large windows with opening portholes in the case, unchanged interior layouts. The updated version improves visibility from the captain’s bridge and slightly increases the aft hydraulic platform. The life raft was hidden under the aft seat, and the captain's chair on the flybridge began to change the position of the back.
The layout of the lower deck includes three cabins and two or three bathrooms: a master across the entire width of the hull, a VIP in the bow, and a guest on the port side. An option is proposed for the Asia-Pacific region: instead of cabins there are areas for business meetings, the galley is transferred to the lower deck.
The yacht has two MAN 730 hp engines or 800 hp, which allow you to develop a cruising speed of 25 knots, the maximum - 30-31. There is a bow thruster, on request you can install a gyroscopic stabilizer pitching.
A flybridge gliding yacht is CE (A) certified and can withstand a storm of up to eight points and wave resistance of more than four meters in height.
