Initially taking a course on making simple, easy and technologically advanced buildings, the Wharf soon began to increase production of low-cost bowriders, sports boats, cruisers — that is demanded by the ordinary purchaser "the people's boat". Rustic design, some of the flaws in their ergonomics and layout were offset by significantly lower cost compared to competitors, which quite satisfied the young and hardy fishermen-tourists. In 1986 Bayliner entering the Brunswick Corporation, one of the largest shipbuilding corporations, covering the market from small boats and motoryachts (Bayliner, Sea Ray, Hatteras, Meridian, Boston Whaler) to large cruise ships and trawlers. Headquarters Bayliner is located in lake forest (Il). Manufacturing facilities are located in Pipestone (Minnesota), Roseburg (Oregon), Cumberland (Maryland) and Reynosa (Mexico). As half a century ago, the shipyard is still engaged in the production of small (6 to 11 meters) and relatively inexpensive cruisers and sport fishing boats. "Klapa" nearly 30,000 units per year, American shipyard today — the undisputed leader in its market segment.
