Bayliner

Bayliner

Racer, businessman and official Mercury dealer Orin Edison buys the name Bayliner in 1957 for literally $ 100. From this event, the history of the brand begins, which today produces 30 thousand classic bowriders and models with extended nose.

Already in 1966, this company began to produce fiberglass boats. And in 1969 it already needs to expand its own production facilities in Arlington. It is in this city that the assembly buildings of this brand will exist for the next 40 years.

The 70s of the last century were not easy. The oil crisis forced the brand to look for new approaches, make changes to boat designs and optimize production. The reforms were beneficial, and by the end of the decade, the company had opened 4 more factories.

The increase in capacity allowed us to increase our presence in the American market. In the mid-90s of the last century, every fourth boat in the United States was produced by this brand.

Interesting facts! Bayliner has received a special award from the National Marine Manufacturers Association - CSI since 2013. Nominees for its receipt are selected based on feedback from shipyard customers. Since 1986, this manufacturer has been considered the largest supplier to the sailing boat market and deservedly ranked first in this segment.

Today, Bayliner, owned by the Brunswick shipbuilding corporation, has its own manufacturing sites in the United States, Portugal, Brazil and Mexico. The lineup is represented by five lines with a total of 25 models. Buyers can choose from an open cockpit bowrider, flared bow boats, outboard motor options, and stationary propulsion boats. Lovers of water sports also pay attention to the products of this brand. The Wake Sports range of sports towing vehicles is specifically designed for such activities.
